WATCH: 3-Alarm Fire Rips Through Farmingdale Home
The fire was still active as of 2 p.m. Thursday.
Farmingdale, Plainview and other firefighters from nearby departments responded to a three-alarm fire at a Farmingdale home at 1:41 p.m. Thursday.
The blaze broke out at the home, located at the corner of Prospect Street and Weiden Street.
A fire official told Patch the preliminary rumors are that the fire started in the front of the house and no injuries have been reported as of 2:45 p.m.
In the video below, large amounts of smoke can be seen emitting from the home.
