WATCH: Silly Raccoon Gets Head Stuck In Peanut Butter Jar
The critter was running around a Farmingdale backyard with a strange accessory on Sunday.
FARMINGDALE, NY - A raccoon got a little more than he bargained for while rummaging through a Farmingdale backyard over the weekend.
In the hilarious video, posted by Cathy St. Pierre by taken by her 10-year-old daughter, Sadie, the raccoon can be seen running around with his head stuck in a peanut butter jar from the garbage can.
St. Pierre, who works as a vet tech and in wildlife rehab, was called to help capture the raccoon along with her husband and daughter.

"He was hiding in the bushes behind a pool and had to be snare polled and brought out onto the grass," St. Pierre said. "I poured cooking oil on his head and was able to maneuver the jar off of his head."
After he was free, the family released him and he ran off.
