Women Steal $1.6K From East Farmingdale BJ's: Police

The two women distracted the cashier and stole the money, police say.

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the two women who, police said, stole money from an East Farmingdale store in January.

Two women distracted a cashier and stole $1,600 from BJ’s Wholesale Club, at 50 Daniel Street, around 3:50 p.m. Jan. 10, police said. The women are wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
