WOMEN'S CLUB DONATES SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND BACKPACKS

St. Killian's Outreach receives an assortment of backpacks and school supplies

St. Killian’s Outreach was very thankful to receive an assortment of backpacks and school supplies for the start of the 2015-16 school year.  Members of the Women’s Club of Farmingdale and friends filled backpacks with notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, scissors, rulers, glue, etc. to help ensure that all children have a successful start to the school year in September.  This program has been a signature project of WCF co-presidents, Rosemary Emigholz and Anna Ievolo.  Anyone in the community can drop off donations of school supplies at the outreach center located at 485 Conklin Street, weekdays from 10 am to 2:30 pm.  The outreach pantry is also in constant need of food donations, especially during the summer months when children are home from school.
