3. 2 Fire Island Communities To Be Sprayed On Ground To Protect Against Mosquitoes (patch.com) — Mosquito control trucks will spray ground pesticides in Atlantique on Wednesday evening and Davis Park on Thursday evening, affecting all streets and boardwalks. Residents are urged to stay indoors during spraying, close windows and AC vents, bring in toys and laundry, and rinse any exposed produce or clothing to minimize contact with the chemicals used.
