FIRE ISLAND PINES, NY — Arson Squad detectives are investigating a blaze that broke out at a Fire Island Pines home on Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
The fire started at the Ocean Walk home at around 1:10 p.m., according to police.
No one was hurt, police said.
Detectives believe the cause of the fire was non-criminal, according to police.
The Modern wooden home, is settled in the dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, according to Pines Modern's website. Its architect was Steven Robinson, and owners have included businessmen George Davison-Ackley and Peter Rogers, the publication stated.
