19-Year-Old Drunk Driver Crashes Into Nassau Home: Police
The driver was hospitalized with a neck injury from the crash, police say.
A Valley Stream teen was arrested on a DWI charge after crashing into a home in Valley Stream on Sunday night, according to Nassau Police.
Manny Pizarro, 19, was driving southbound on Mill Road at about 11:27 p.m. when he lost control of the car, crashed into a parked car in the driveway and then hit the home on Heritage Court, police said.
Officers found that he had driven his car in an "intoxicated condition" and was placed under arrest at the scene, police said.

As a result of the accident, Pizarro suffered a neck injury and was transported to a local hospital where he was admitted for treatment, police said. No other injuries were reported.
He is charged with second degree reckless endangerment, fourth degree criminal mischief and driving while intoxicated, police said.

He will be arraigned when practical.
