2 Men Charged After Loaded Gun, Ammunition Found In Vehicle: PD
The men were initally stopped on Saturday night with a missing tail light, police say.

INWOOD, NY — Two men were stopped on a routine patrol on Saturday night on Sheridan Boulevard without a tail light and an expired registration.
During the investigation, officers found a loaded 9 mm handgun and two ammunition magazines in the vehicle, detectives said.
The driver, Jean Francois, 18, of Brooklyn, and passenger, Melchizedek Neverson, 18, of Brooklyn, were taken into custody without further incident, police said.

Both men were charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon. They were expected to face arraignment on Sunday in Hempstead.
