3 People Sought For Pair Of Elmont Robberies: Police

ELMONT, NY — A pair of robberies happened Tuesday night in Elmont and police think the same three people are involved.

The Elmont Deli on Linden Boulevard was targeted first, just after 9:15 p.m. One of the suspects told the cashier that he had a gun, while another person removed money from the register and assorted tobacco products, authorities said.

Three employees were present at the time of the robbery.

They fled on foot and entered the BP gas station across the street.

Two of the men went behind the counter, grabbing money from the register and lottery tickets, while a third person threatened victims.

They fled onto the Cross Island Parkway heading northbound in a red, four-door sedan, with two other people, police said.
