4 Arrested After Fight At Nassau Applebee's Leads To Stabbing
Police say an argument escalated into a full-blown fight in the restaurant, which left one man with a punctured lung.

Nassau County police say that four men were arrested late Saturday night after a fight at an Applebee's led to a man being stabbed.
According to police, Daryl Russell, 28, of Smith Street, Freeport, and Hugh Stewart, 27, of 226 Street, Laurelton, entered the Applebee's at 1126 Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream. Once there, police say that both got into an argument with Jonathan Garcia, 24, of Pennsylvania Avenue, Brooklyn, and Jesse Bulla, 24, of 88 Street, Ozone Park.
After the argument, Russell went into the bathroom, and was followed by Garcia and Bulla, police say. The punched him numerous times and then left, according to police.

When Russell and Stewart went to leave the restaurant later, police say another fight broke out between all four men near the exit door, which resulted in Garcia being stabbed. Nassau Police arrived and arrested all four men, and police say they recovered two knives.
Russell suffered an injury to his mouth and Garcia had a punctured lung. They were both taken to hospitals for treatment. Police say that Russell was also in possession of cocaine.

Russell is charged with second-degree assault, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Stewart is charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Garcia and Bulla are both charged with third-degree assault. All four are scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Monday.
