4 Arrested In Woodmere After Fatal Overdose Investigation: NCPD
Police say the investigation led to two arrests for minor drug charges, and two more serious offenders.
WOODMERE, NY — An investigation into a fatal drug overdose led police to arresting four people in Woodmere Tuesday night.
According to Nassau County police, the investigation led to the arrest of two people at 10:07 p.m.: Avante Lester, 27, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Angela Aragona, 27, of Valley Stream.
Additionally, police arrested two other women, a 28-year-old from Valley Stream and a 26-year-old from Lynbrook, on minor drug charges. They were both issued appearance tickets and released.

Lester is charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two charges of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Aragona is charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. They are both scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
