4 Break Into Nassau Country Club, Steal Goods Worth Hundreds: Police

Several hundred dollars worth of merchandise was stolen, police say.

HEWLETT HARBOR, NY — Police are searching for four masked men who they said broke into a country club in Nassau County and stole hundreds of dollars in merchandise.

The break-in and theft happened the evening of Aug. 31.

The men entered the Seawane County Club tennis shop through an unlocked window wearing face masks and backpacks, police said, and stole about $750 in goods.
