#65 - Take a Break at the Woodmere Docks

Sometimes we all need to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of hectic schedules. The Woodmere Docks is a good place to get away from it all for a while.

It’s one of the most serene places in the Five Towns, where people go just to relax or even do some bird watching.

Some residents go there as a daily ritual — to read the newspaper or have their coffee. It’s also a popular morning meeting spot for retirees.

For those who like fishing, snapper and crab are a popular catch.

As a change of pace from crowded restaurants, some locals take their lunch break down at the docks. Just bring a sandwich, possibly a book, and enjoy.

Take your bike, your car or just walk to the end of Woodmere Boulevard and take in the scenery.
