8 Vehicles Stolen From Inwood Used Car Dealership: PD

People cut the front gate lock and stole the vehicles, police say.

INWOOD, NY — Vehicles were stolen from a used car dealership in Inwood on Friday, Nassau police said.

Officers were called to Affordable Automotive, at 541 Burnside Avenue, around 6:30 p.m. for a burglary, police said. Burglars cut the front gate lock and stole eight vehicles from the parking lot, police said. The front door of the business had been pried open and the office had been ransacked, but it was unknown if any proceeds were stolen, police said.

Police do not have a description of the subjects, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
