Queens Man Arrested After Stabbing Coworker During Worksite Argument, Police Say

A Queens man was arrested Tuesday after an argument at a worksite ended in a knife being wielded, police say.

WOODMERE, NY — A Queens man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he pulled a knife and stabbed a coworker during an argument on a work site, police said.

Nassau County police said 29-year-old Rosedale, Queens resident Andy Miller was arrested Tuesday at 2:10 p.m. after an argument at a Woodmere worksite. According to police, Miller was working for an insulation company at the worksite when he got into an argument with a coworker. The argument escalated, Miller pulled a knife and stabbed his coworker in the abdomen and forearm, police said.

In the aftermath of the argument, coworkers were able to remove the knife from the man’s body and call police, police said. When police arrived, Miller was arrested without incident and the man with the stab wound was hospitalized for treatment, police said.

Wednesday morning, Miller is charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said. The man he stabbed, police said, was in stable condition after the incident.
