VALLEY STREAM, NY — A Coney Island woman was arrested Friday morning after police say she was reported inside a parked car on Munro Boulevard in Valley Stream.
Nassau County police said 21-year-old Charmaine Skeen was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning and faces charges of fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny, resisting arrest, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and second-degree harassment.
Skeen’s arraignment is scheduled for Saturday, police said, and her arrest came after a call reporter a “suspicious female” inside a parked car on Munro Boulevard. After broadcasting a description of the woman, Skeen was spotted by a canine unit on the same street and placed under arrest, police said. During the arrest, Skeen was found to have taken items from two different cars and was in possession of personal IDs and property taken from the cars, police said.
