Unidentified Body Found In LI Park, Investigation Ongoing: Police

VALLEY STREAM, NY — An unidentified body was found in North Woodmere Park in Valley Stream Tuesday morning, prompting an investigation, police said.

Nassau County police said they received a call about a body in the park at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday and responded to the park, finding the unidentified body upon arrival.

Tuesday afternoon, police said the body remained unidentified. The investigation into how the body wound up in the park, police said, was ongoing as of Tuesday afternoon.
