North Woodmere Attempted Burglars Still At Large: PD

NORTH WOODMERE, NY — Nassau County police say multiple individuals are still at large following an attempted burglary Saturday morning at a North Woodmere home.

According to police, a call was placed at 4:27 a.m. Saturday with reports of an attempted residential burglary at a Plainfield Lane home. Upon arrival at the home, police officers found that multiple people had tried unsuccessfully to enter the home, police said. Authorities said the would-be burglars then fled the home in an unknown direction after failing to gain entry.

To date, no arrests have been made and an investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said. Police did not identify any of the burglary suspects Tuesday, nor did they release any photos of the individuals.
