Arrests Made After 4 Stabbed In Valley Stream Lounge Brawl: Police
Two men and two women were stabbed when a large fight broke out at a lounge in February, police say. Arrests were made Sunday, police say.
VALLEY STREAM, NY — Two men were arrested Sunday in connection with a Valley Stream lounge fight where two men and two women were stabbed on Feb. 3, Nassau police said.
Shameq Sullins, 23, of Hempstead, was charged with two counts of first-degree assault and three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was scheduled to be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.
Dayvonne Johnson, 22, of Roosevelt, was charged with two counts of third-degree assault. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to First District Court on April 5.

Officers were called to North Central Avenue and West Merrick Road around 3:30 a.m. Feb. 3, where they saw four people who had been stabbed, police said. Two men, ages 33 and 34, and two women, ages 31 and 26, all suffered cuts and stab wounds, police said.
They were inside Moods Lounge and Café when they became involved in a large fight with a group they did not know, police said. The fight spilled out onto the street, and the other group fled in an unknown direction, police said.

The four people who were stabbed were taken to local hospitals, where they are all in stable condition, police said.
