Bomb Threat Cleared At LIJ Valley Stream: Nassau Police
After searching the hospital, the threat was "unsubstantiated," police said.

VALLEY STREAM, NY — There was a bomb threat at Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital this afternoon, Nassau police said.
Police responded to the hospital on Franklin Avenue at 1:17 p.m.
After an investigation that included searching the hospital, the threat was declared "unsubstantiated," a police spokesperson said.

While checking for a bomb, the hospital stopped taking patients for less than an hour, police said.
The nearby James A. Dever Elementary School had been placed on a precautionary lockdown, Newsday reported.

There were no injuries and an investigation is ongoing into the threat, according to police.
