Cedarhurst Announces Absentee Ballot Application For September 15 Election

The application must be received by the Village no later than September 8, 2020.

Our Village Election will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. The polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM in Village Hall, located at 200 Cedarhurst Avenue.

If you are a registered voter, you may vote by absentee ballot if you are fearful of contracting or spreading COVID. If you wish to vote by absentee ballot, click here to download and print an Absentee Ballot Application.

On the Application you are required to complete the following sections:

  • Section 1: check the box for “temporary illness or physical disability” (this includes being unable to appear due to risk of contracting or spreading a communicable disease like COVID-19).
  • Section 2: check the box for “Special Election only”.
  • Section 3: fill in your last name, followed by your first name, middle initial and suffix, as applicable.
  • Section 4: fill in your date of birth and County where you live.
  • Section 5: fill in your residence address.
  • Section 6: leave this section blank.
  • Section 7: fill in how you would like the Village to deliver the ballot form to you. If you want it mailed, fill in your mailing address.
  • Section 8: sign and date the application.

Once you have filled out the application, you can mail the completed application or drop it off at:

The application must be received by the Village no later than September 8, 2020. If you do not have sufficient time to mail the application to the Village to ensure timely receipt by the Village, you must drop it off in Village Hall, or have someone drop it off for you.
