Cedarhurst Garage Burglarized: Police
Someone broke into the home's detached garage and stole $1,200 worth of equipment, police say.
CEDARHURST, NY — A Cedarhurst home's garage was broken into Thursday evening, Nassau police said.
A person or people entered the unlocked door of a detached garage on Rugby Road around 6:10 p.m. and stole equipment and tools worth approximately $1,200, detectives said. The thief or thieves left the garage and fled in an unknown direction, police said. Police are investigating.
Officers had no description of the subject or subjects available.
