Man Lured 15-Year-Old Girl to His Porch, Touched Her Thigh and Kissed Her: Nassau Police

Cedarhurst, NY — A Nassau County man is accused of forcibly touching and kissing a 15-year-old girl who he lured to his home earlier this month, Nassau Police said Thursday.

On June 11 at about 1 p.m., the teen was walking on Grove Avenue in Cedarhurst when 69-year-old Jaime Martinez began waving her over to his front porch, police said.

The girl walked over and sat next to Martinez, who then placed his hand on the girl’s thigh and tried to raise her skirt, police said. As he kept his hand on the girl’s thigh, he proceeded to kiss her on the mouth, police said.

The girl and her parents notified police, who arrested Martinez at his home on Monday at 5:45 p.m. without incident, police said.

Martinez is charged with two counts of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned on Tuesday and released on $2,500 bail. He is due back in court in August.
