Church Director From Elmont Accused Of Sex Abuse With Child: Cops
The victim attended an after-school program at the same Queens church, detectives say.

ELMONT, NY — An Elmont man was arrested and charged with sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl last month, detectives said.
Daniel Butler, 41, the director at the Fullness of Joy Ministries in Jamaica, is accused of the sexual crime with the victim, who attends an after-school program at the church, police said.
The victim attended Butler's Elmont home for childcare, according to authorities.

Butler is charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. He was expected to be arraigned on Thursday.
Police in Nassau and New York City are investigating.
