Cops: Five Towns Woman Robbed in Driveway
Man covered woman's face, made off with jewelry from Woodmere victim, cops said.

A Woodmere woman in her seventies was approached and robbed in her driveway Tuesday afternoon, according to Nassau County Police.
Detectives said the 74-year-old woman had just driven into her driveway on Longacre Avenue when a man approached her and put his hand over her face. The subject demanded her jewelry and she cooperated, handing over undisclosed pieces of jewelry before the man fled on foot in an unknown direction, cops said.
The victim was not injured during the robbery that happened at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
