“Keith Davis and his colleagues have very unique stories to tell, and that’s part of this experience – to hear about the hard work and perseverance these guys have gone through and how the kids can relate to their stories,” said Curran. “Every year that we do this, it has an impact on the students. Keith and Dominic spoke to the kids about setting goals, never giving up on their dreams and remembering to reach for the stars! Having listened to Keith Davis before at this event as well as at a mentoring conference in the past – his message is solid for our youth. This is one of the best, most moving, poignant motivational programs for children that I have ever seen. As an NFL player, Keith is extremely relatable; it makes him approachable and human and that’s what makes this so special for the kids.”

Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino said, “I’m proud to co-sponsor this wonderful program with Assemblyman Brian Curran and Molloy College in Baldwin Schools. Having professional athletes share and spread the message of hard work, personal tenacity, hope, perseverance and achievement will inspire our children and community to continue striving for excellence. For our students and young adults to know that they can do anything they want to - as long as they put their minds and effort into it - is a powerful message that not only resonates, but also allows today’s learners to become tomorrow’s leaders.”
