CURRAN PRESENTS MEDICARE MADE EASY SEMINAR

Advisory

Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st AD) today announced that he will partner with Lynbrook Restorative Therapy and Nursing, Franklin General Hospital and keynote speaker Marie Cantone to present a “Medicare Made Easy” seminar for seniors on Monday, November 23 at the Henry Waldinger Memorial Library in Valley Stream. Curran said the seminar is designed to take the confusion out of all the options available so seniors can make choices that are right for them. He said that with Marie Cantone’s help, they will review the basics of Medicare, supplementary insurance, advantage plans, prescription drug plans, “donut” hole, eligibility requirements and enrollment windows.

“How many times have you or someone you know been frustrated with a service or the information given to you? That’s what this seminar is about – cutting through the confusion and presenting important health information in a format that seniors can use to their advantage. It is so important that our seniors understand the Medicare process and everything related to it,” said Curran. “We want what is best for our family members, and I want to thank Marie Cantone, Lynbrook Restorative Therapy and Nursing and Franklin General for all their help putting this seminar together. We are all looking forward to helping and guiding our seniors through this information.”

Administrator Steven A. Rohinsky MHA, LNHA of Lynbrook Restorative Therapy and Nursing said, “I am proud to partner with Assemblyman Curran to help give the seniors of the south shore the information they need to make informed decisions about their healthcare. It is initiatives like this that empower hundreds of seniors in the south shore community to maintain independence and improve their lives.”
