Driver In Critical Condition After Woodmere Crash, Police Say

WOODMERE, NY — A 39-year-old man was left in critical condition Thursday after his Tesla collided with a Honda Accord on Branch Boulevard in Woodmere, police said.

Nassau County police said the 39-year-old was making a left turn from University Street to Branch Boulevard at 7:53 a.m. Thursday when it collided with the Honda being operated by a 24-year–old man.

Both drivers were hospitalized for treatment and evaluation, with the 39-year-old being listed in critical condition, police said. An investigation, police said, is ongoing.
