Driver Stopped; Loaded Handgun Found In Car: Police
Seon Linton faces a count of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm, police say.
VALLEY STREAM, NY — A Valley Stream man was taken into custody late Tuesday night. During a traffic stop near North Central Avenue, officers conducted an investigation of Seon Linton's vehicle and determined he had a suspended registration, police said.
Searching Linton's white 2016 BMW, officers discovered a loaded 9-millimeter gun, detectives said.
The 23-year-old Linton was placed under arrest without incident, police said.

He was charged with criminal possession of a firearm and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Linton was scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday.
