Drugs, Loaded Gun Found On Traffic Stop In Inwood: Police
Jelvin Hazelwood and Jennifer Wade face charges of gun and drug charges, police said.

INWOOD, NY — A man and a woman were taken into custody on Saturday night in Inwood for drug and weapon charges, police said.
Driver Jelvin Hazelwood, 32, and Jennifer Wade, 29, were stopped after officers saw their 2012 Ford changing lanes without signaling, police said.
During the investigation, a loaded handgun was recovered along with 19 glassine envelopes containing a substance believed to be heroin. Seven caps believed to be crack cocaine were also recovered, detectives said.

They were both charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Hazelwood and Wade were expected to be arraigned on Sunday.
