Elmont Woman Severely Burned 2 Years Ago; Reward Increased To $50,000
An attacker threw acid on Nafiah Ikram in her driveway in March 2021.

ELMONT, NY — It's been two years since an attacker threw acid on Nafiah Ikram in her Elmont driveway.
Police are increasing the reward to $50,000 in hopes of spurring activity that will ultimately lead to an arrest in the case.
Ikram, who was a 21-year-old college student at the time of the incident, was doused on the evening of Wednesday, March 17 outside of her Arlington Avenue home.
