Robison hopes to match as many families with cats from across Nassau County.

One of the felines she is trying to get fostered or adopted is Fiona, a three-year-old cat, who prefers females and no young children. Fiona is due to get spayed shortly. As Robison tells Patch, Fiona would be best served in a "quiet household."
