Nan Robison is bringing cats from across Nassau County for families to adopt or foster.

ELMONT, NY — A local woman is passionate about helping cats find their forever homes.
Nancy Robison has started the "One at a Cat Rescue." While Robison tells Patch that the business is in its early stages without a website yet, people can reach out to her directly for more information.

Robison hopes to match as many families with cats from across Nassau County.
One of the felines she is trying to get fostered or adopted is Fiona, a three-year-old cat, who prefers females and no young children. Fiona is due to get spayed shortly. As Robison tells Patch, Fiona would be best served in a "quiet household."
