Friends of Israel Disabled Veteran 5Towns 5K Run/Walk: On Sunday May 15, 2011, in North Woodmere Park, the Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans is holding the second annual 5Towns 5k Run/Walk in support of Beit Halochem rehabilitation centers in Israel. Beit Halochem provides rehabilitation, recreational, and social services to disabled Israeli veterans and victims of terror. Early registration for the run/walk is $20 through 5/9/11.
