Fall Festival at Lawrence Early Childhood Center

Lawrence Early Childhood Center Students Celebrate Fall Festival

LAWRENCE, NEW YORK (NOVEMBER 2022)—Lawrence Early Childhood Center recently celebrated the fall season with its annual Fall Festival. This year, students were treated to pumpkin picking in the school’s pumpkin patch, a farmers market-themed stand where students were able to pick apples and enjoy other seasonal fruit and juice, and various learning-based activities centered around a fall theme. Students learned about pumpkin anatomy, and in activities set up around the center, students had the opportunity to hone their counting and shape identification skills. Special thanks this year goes out to Councilwoman Missy Miller who donated fall-themed props to decorate the festival’s photo booth so students could take festive photos at the event.

“With November comes excitement for the Thanksgiving celebration which leads us into the December holiday season. It is a time that reminds us to be thankful for all that we have. In that spirit, all of us at the Early Childhood Center would like to thank the Lawrence Board of Education and District administration for providing the pumpkins and apples that were enjoyed by all our students,” said Kathleen Graham, Principal of Lawrence Early Childhood Center. “Our young learners were able to enjoy fall festivities with a wide variety of activities while learning and having fun!”
