Food Drive Delivers Items To Elmont Church
St. Vincent de Paul Parish received food and other items as part of the annual donation drive by Ocean Financial Federal Credit Union.

ELMONT, NY — Helping needy families this holiday season, Ocean Financial Federal Credit Union held its annual Holiday Food Drive. Items were delivered to St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Elmont.
"We have always had a vested interest in the health and welfare of our community and the people in it," said Joe Tedesco, President & CEO of OFFCU. "This is our 8th year completing our food drive and it gets better every year. It is so important that we help those who are less fortunate or who maybe have fallen on hard times. By lifting up those who need it, we elevate everyone."
Various Ocean Financial branches accepted non-perishable food and personal care items for the church's food pantry.

Mary Rose O’Hara, Outreach Coordinator at St. Vincent de Paul Parish said: "Food insecurity in New York is on the rise and families are in need of our services more than ever. We are so grateful to organizations who help us to give back to those in need, especially during the holiday season."
