Free Community Book Event In 5 Towns Next Month
The Nov. 13 program will feature children's authors and book donations for families in need.
CEDARHURST, NY — A special reading event is coming to the Five Towns next month.
Hindi's Libraries is partnering Warren Levi Martial Arts in Cedarhurst for the family-friendly program-- Board Breaking & Books.
There will be local children's authors including Levi and Leslie Gang, co-founder of Hindi's Libraries.

The Sunday, Nov. 13 event also features Thanksgiving book packaging for local families in need, raffle prizes and vendors.
It takes places from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at 136 Washington Ave. in Cedarhurst.

"Our goal is to really unite as a community and show our neighbors how much good we can all do, not only during the Thanksgiving season, but year-round," Gang said.
