A Friendly Clash: LHS vs. NCPD On The Basketball Court
The two teams are playing to help foster positive relationships with the police and the community.
On Monday, for one night only, the Nassau County Police Department's Fourth Precinct will be facing off against the Lawrence High School football team...on the basketball court. The free event is a fun, competition between the two teams.
The game begins at 6:30 p.m. at Lawrence High School, located at 2 Reilly Road in Cedarhurst, right off Peninsula Boulevard. According to the police department, the exhibition is designed to emphasize positive police relationships within the community.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend. If you can't make it to the game, you can stream it online here.
