It was a great few days over the Purim holiday at Chabad of Hewlett with parties, activities, Hamantashen and so much more.
Nearly 1000 Hewlett residents got together over a 3 day period to celebrate what is considered the happiest day on the Jewish calendar. Chabad of Hewlett, led by Rabbi Nochem & Rivkie Tenenboim, hosted several exciting Purim celebrations. There were 2 Pre-Purim Family Hamantash Bakes in the morning and afternoon on the Sunday before Purim, on Purim Eve they had their first ever Roaring 20s Adult Only themed party and on Tuesday the Hewlett Community GRAND Purim Celebration - Purim in Outer Space, was held along with Megillah readings all day long for the students of Hewlett High School.
A good time was had by all.
