Green Acres Macy's Break-In: Man Pries Open Register For Cash: Police

VALLEY STREAM, NY — An unknown man burglarized the Macy's at the Green Acres Mall, police said.

Just before 8 a.m. on Sunday, the man entered the store through an unlocked side door.

Once inside, he pried open and damaged four cash registers while removing an unknown amount of money, authorities said.

He fled westbound on foot.

Police released a photo of the man entering the store from the surveillance video.
