Hewlett and Lynbrook girls bring FLG Lacrosse to the next level

Another great summer season has come to a close for FLG Lacrosse!

The 2023 team is filled with some major talent from the five-towns and Hewlett/Lynbrook area. Mimi Berkowitz, Samantha DeLucca, Ava Guigliano, Ava Padilla and Isabella Scholl were nothing less than stellar all season for FLG. Ava G. held is down in cage for her second season in a row proving time and time again that she's one of the best keepers her age. Samantha, Ava P., Mimi and Isabella were all over the field this summer putting in work where their team needed them the most.

Margo Verschleiser was a critical part of her 2019(516) teams middie line throughout the summer. She continued to battle through the oppressive heat and helped lead the FLG U15 team to a solid showing in Indianapolis when injuries left the girls without subs! Margo continues to impress and we cannot wait to see what's to come from her.

LeMoyne commit Kristen DeCicco and Molloy commit Karaline Bartels came together as teammates rather than cross town rivals to dominate the competition on the 2017 team. Kristen came back from an injury to control the low attack while Karaline anchored a solid defensive core.

Congrats to all of the girls on another great season of FLG Lacrosse!

FLG Teams

FLG Lacrosse tryouts are designed to select the best talent. The drills used in the tryouts are from the FLG Lacrosse Curriculum and are intended to test the player’s ability to make decisions in different aspects of the game. Our highly knowledgable evaluators and coaches assist in the selection process. Tryouts for our the 2016/17 FLG Select Teams will be during August of 2016.
