Hewlett and Lynbrook Girls lead the FLG Lacrosse charge to Victory!

Kristen DeCicco, Karaline Bartels and Margo Verschleiser played critical roles in the success of their summer seasons with FLG Lacrosse!

This summer was a great one for the FLG Select Girls! FLG 2016/2017 team members Kristen DeCicco (Hewlett HS) and Karaline Bartels (Lynbrook HS) were vital to the success of their team. Kristen dominated the draw and transition play while Karaline stood her ground defensively against some of the best attackers in the country! The 2016/2017 team fought hard in the hot summer sun and left it all on the field every single game. Director and Coach Robyn Pastuch says of the girls, “We played in front of tons of college scouts and these girls really stepped up and made some waves - Coaches are already contacting me.” Margo Verschleiser helped lead her 2019/2020 Select team to a great year as well, she was all over the field and came up with some big draw controls when the team needed them the most! The 2019 Woodmere Middle School Graduate is set to make an impact in a big way for years to come. We are very proud of these girls and look forward to watching them grow on and off the fields for years to come!
