Voters Easily Approve Hewlett-Woodmere School Budget, Incumbents Re-Elected to BOE
Hewlett-Woodmere residents headed to the polls Tuesday.

Hewlett-Woodmere residents approved a 2016-17 school budget on Tuesday.
The $115.3 million budget was approved by a margin of 1,264 to 455. The budget is a 1.52 percent spending increase and represents a 0 percent increase in the school tax levy.
Voters elected incumbent Mitchell A. Greebel and Daniella Simon, who were both running unopposed, to the Hewlett-Woodmere Board of Education for a three-year term.
