Inwood Man Facing Weapons Charges After Police Find Loaded Gun On Him During Traffic Stop, Police Say
An Inwood man was arrested Tuesday night after police found a loaded revolver on him during a traffic stop, police say.

INWOOD, NY — An Inwood man is facing a pair of weapons charges Wednesday after police found a loaded revolver on his person during a routine traffic stop, police said.
Nassau County police said 43-year-old William Rodriguez was riding as a passenger in a Nissan when it was pulled over on Bayview Avenue Tuesday night at 8:38 p.m. The driver of the Nissan, police said, was found to be driving without a license and faces an aggravated unlicensed operation charge as well as several traffic violations.
For Rodriguez, police said they found him in possession of the loaded gun during the stop and took him into custody along with the driver. Wednesday, Rodriguez is facing two second-degree criminal possession of a weapon charges and a criminal possession of a firearm charge, police said.
