Lawrence School District Employee Pleads Not Guilty After Tuesday Arrest

Police say the man was arrested after an accusation of inappropriate touching was brought to a district administrator.

CEDARHURST, NY. — Constantine Theodosiou, the Lawrence School District employee accused of inappropriately touching a student, entered a not guilty plea in Nassau County Court Wednesday.

Theodosiou was arrested Tuesday and charged with forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree sexual abuse, Nassau County police said. According to police, Theodosiou was arrested after an investigation following a 911 call and the reported accusation of inappropriate touching to an administrator at the school.

The office of John Carman, listed as Theodosiou's attorney in court documents, confirmed Thursday that Theodosiou had entered a not guilty plea. Court documents indicate that Theodosiou is due back in court on Feb. 18, and will be appearing before Judge Maxine Broderick.
