<p>This past weekend the Lawrence Woodmere Academy drama club delighted students, faculty, and parents with their rendition of The Fantasticks! Congratulations on a job well done to both the students and their faculty adviser Mrs. Glasberg. The show truly was fantastic!</p>

From uncovering hidden flagstone paths, to raking leaves and planting annuals. We've participated in every <b>I Love My Parks Day</b> with <b>Parks &amp; Trails NY</b> and <b>NY State Parks </b>since 2012! Partner groups have included the <b>Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, Yale Alumni, Con Edison, Rye Neck School, Mamaroneck School, Stanford Alumni, the Rye Garden Club, Rye Sustainability Committee</b> and many more.&nbsp;</p>

Binoculars are not needed but if you have a pair, bring them (there will be a limited amount of shared binoculars available). All ages and experience levels are welcome. </p>
<p>Indigo Goodson-Fields is a writer, poet, and birder based in Brooklyn. Her forthcoming book, entitled Essential Birding is an anthology about the importance of birding in the lives of Black birders across the U.S. and will be published by OR Books in fall 2026.</p>
