LI Man Threatened To Shoot Day Camp Over Social Distancing: NCPD
Police said they recovered multiple guns from his home, which is across the street from the Yeshiva day camp.

INWOOD, NY — An Inwood man with multiple guns was arrested Monday evening after police said he threatened to shoot a Jewish day camp over social distancing requirements.
According to police, Nicola Pelle, 58, of Doughty Boulevard, called police about social distancing violations at the Yeshiva Ketana of Long Island children’s camp, which is across the street from his home.
While the officers were on the way, police said Pelle called again and threatened to get a gun and shoot the people at the camp if police didn't arrive.

Police said that Pelle identified himself as the caller and was placed under arrest without incident. In his home, police found five handguns, rifles and shotguns — two of which are assault weapons, police said. All of the guns were seized. Pelle had a valid Nassau County Pistol Permit, police said.
Pelle was charged with making a terroristic threat, four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of criminal possession of a firearm. He is scheduled to be arraigned later Tuesday.
