Local School, Families March In Celebrate Israel Parade
It was the 58th edition of the parade, which was canceled the past two years due to COVID-19.
LAWRENCE, NY —The Celebrate Israel parade returned Sunday after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
Thousands of the spectators lined Fifth Avenue in Manhattan to watch the marchers and bands.
One of the groups participating in support of Israel was The Brandeis School of Lawrence.

Students were flanked by parents and grandparents on the parade route. Members of the faculty and administrations also marched, as did some Brandeis graduates.
The school was led in the parade by the alumni and middle school students, who held the new school banner dedicated to the Class of 2023.

In addition, students wore shirts in Hebrew that translated to "We illuminate together."
