Man Charged With Attempting to Burglarize Neighbor's Home: Police
The attempted burglary occurred on Monday morning.

ELMONT, NY - An Elmont man was arrested for attempting to burglarize his neighbor's home on Monday morning, according to Nassau Police.
At about 4:30 a.m., a 59-year-old woman called the police after she heard a noise on the roof of her Stone Street home.
Upon arrival, police found a man identified as 20-year-old Justin Luna, also of Stone Street, in the backyard along with a cut window screen and an attached ransacked garage, police said.

After an investigation, he was placed under arrest without incident. There were no proceeds.
Luna is being charged with second degree attempted burglary, according to police.

He will be arraigned on Tuesday.
