Police ID Man Found Shot to Death Behind Nassau Convenience Store
BREAKING: Police responded to the scene Friday night and found the gunshot victim.
UPDATE: Police have identified the victim as Edwin Lopez, 36, of Oceanside. Police are still searching for his killer.
ORIGINAL STORY: A man was found shot to death behind a convenience store in Valley Stream Friday night.
According to detectives, officers responded to AL Mini Mart, located at 91 Ocean Ave. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was transported to Franklin General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 11:31 p.m. by hospital staff. The investigation is ongoing.
