Man Performed Lewd Act In Front Of Teen Girl In Elmont: Police
The girl was walking to school when a man turned around to face her and started performing a lewd act, police say.
ELMONT, NY — Nassau detectives are looking for the man who, police said, performed a lewd act in front of a teenage girl on Tuesday morning in Elmont.
A 15-year-old Elmont High School student was walking to school on 240th Street around 7:50 a.m. when, near 117th Road, she was walking behind a man she did not know, police said. The man turned around and began performing a lewd act, police said. The girl then walked away in the opposite direction and called the police, police said. No injuries were reported, the department said.
The man was described by police as black, 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing a black coat, black boots and blue jeans.
